allBingX vs Deribit: which to use
BingX vs Deribit is two centralized exchanges, each holding your funds in an account and matching on an order book. Deribit charges less: 1.5 bp maker and 3.5 bp taker, against 2 bp and 5 bp on BingX. BingX lists 1,240 perp markets, 234 of them real-world assets, and goes up to 500x. Deribit lists 134, 34 of them real-world assets, up to 50x, with hourly funding on every market. Fees, market count, leverage and funding interval decide it for most traders.
How each exchange is built
BingX is a centralized exchange (CEX): you open an account with the company, and the account holds your funds. Deribit is built the same way. Both match orders on a central limit order book. For the trader this means an account and a deposit on either one, not a self-custody wallet.
Fees and what they mean
BingX's base tier is 2 bp maker and 5 bp taker, per BingX's perpetual futures fee schedule. Deribit's base tier is 1.5 bp maker and 3.5 bp taker, read from Deribit's API; it has no fee page to link.
A market order pays the taker fee to open and again to close: 10 bp per round trip on BingX, 7 bp on Deribit. A limit order that rests on the book pays the maker fee instead, 2 bp on BingX and 1.5 bp on Deribit.
Fees are only part of a trade's cost. Slippage is the price you move by eating through the order book, and it grows with size. The cost table above adds both at each size from $1k to $5M, and every exchange's trading cost is compared on one page.
Markets and leverage
As of 1 October 2026 BingX lists 1,240 active perps, 234 of them stocks, commodities, FX or other real-world assets. Deribit lists 134, 34 of them real-world assets. BingX therefore has about nine times as many markets, and more of them outside crypto.
BingX allows up to 500x and Deribit up to 50x on their highest-leverage markets; most markets allow less. Funding is the periodic payment between longs and shorts, and a positive rate means longs pay shorts. Deribit pays funding every hour on every market. BingX pays every 1 hour, 4 hours or 8 hours depending on the market, so check a market's interval before you hold it. An hourly market settles 24 times a day, a 4-hour market six times and an 8-hour market three times. The list further down this page shows the markets both exchanges have and each one's funding rate.
Who can use them
BingX requires advanced KYC to deposit or trade. Unverified accounts can only withdraw, up to 20,000 USDT a day, and rules vary by region.
Deribit requires ID, proof of address and a financial profile before any deposit. It is closed to the US, Canada, Japan and retail UK clients. If you live in one of those places, BingX is the one to check against your region's rules.
Reading the numbers on this page
Both exchanges publish open interest as one side of open positions, so the open interest row and chart above compare like with like. Neither publishes TVL, as is usual for a centralized exchange, so the TVL row and chart show nothing for either.
The market counts above are totals of active perps. The better way to compare a specific pair is the list of shared markets down the page, where each market's funding rate and the spread between the two exchanges sit side by side. For funding spreads across every pair of exchanges, see funding arbitrage.
