More comparisons
allHow each exchange is built
BingX is a centralized exchange (CEX): you open an account with the company, and the account holds your funds. HTX is also a CEX with an account that holds your funds. Both match orders on a central limit order book. The differences between them lie in fees, markets, leverage and access.
Fees and what they mean
BingX's base tier is 2 bp maker and 5 bp taker, per BingX's fee schedule. HTX's base tier is 2 bp maker and 6 bp taker, per HTX's fee page.
The maker rate is the same. A market order pays the taker fee to open and again to close: 10 bp per round trip on BingX, 12 bp on HTX. A limit order that rests on the book pays the maker fee, 2 bp on both. If you mostly use market orders, the 1 bp taker gap is paid twice on every round trip.
Fees are only part of a trade's cost. Slippage, the price you move by eating through the order book, grows with size. The cost table above adds both at each size from $1k to $5M, and every exchange's trading cost is compared on one page.
Markets and leverage
As of 1 October 2026 BingX lists 1240 active perps, 234 of them stocks, commodities, FX or other real-world assets. HTX lists 370, of which 251 are real-world assets. BingX has more markets overall. HTX has more real-world asset markets, and they make up most of its list.
BingX allows up to 500x and HTX up to 200x on their highest-leverage markets; most markets allow less. Both pay funding every 1 hour, 4 hours or 8 hours depending on the market. An hourly market settles 24 times a day, an 8-hour market three times. A position held through many settlements on an hourly market feels funding swings sooner, so check a market's interval before you hold it. The list further down this page shows the markets both exchanges have and each one's funding rate.
Who can use them
BingX requires advanced KYC to deposit or trade. Unverified accounts can only withdraw, up to 20,000 USDT a day. Rules vary by region.
HTX is limited without ID: trading starts without ID, inside limits that verification lifts. For accounts opened since 2026-03-30 without ID, futures go up to 5x and API trading is closed. More leverage and the API need level-2 KYC. If you run bots through the API, plan on verification at HTX.
Tokens
HTX has a token, $HTX.
Reading the numbers on this page
Both exchanges publish open interest as one side of open positions, so the open interest row and chart above compare like with like. Neither centralized exchange publishes TVL, so the TVL row and chart show nothing for either.
Market counts in the Head to head table include real-world assets, so compare crypto and real-world markets separately when you read them. For funding work, the funding arbitrage page ranks pairs by spread and Net 7d, and the live BTC funding figures sit in the table above.
