allBybit vs BingX: which to use
Bybit vs BingX is two centralized exchanges with the same fee on the maker side and different trade-offs elsewhere. Both charge 2 bp maker. Bybit charges 5.5 bp taker and BingX 5 bp. BingX lists 1,240 perp markets against Bybit's 857 and allows up to 500x against 150x. Bybit requires standard verification for every product. BingX requires advanced KYC to deposit or trade, though an unverified account can still withdraw. Taker fee, market count, leverage and ID rules decide it for most traders.
How each exchange is built
Bybit and BingX are both centralized exchanges (CEX): you open an account with the company, and the account holds your funds. Both match orders on a central limit order book.
Fees and what they mean
Bybit's base tier is 2 bp maker and 5.5 bp taker, per Bybit's fee page. BingX's is 2 bp maker and 5 bp taker, per BingX's fee page.
A market order pays the taker fee to open and again to close: 11 bp per round trip on Bybit, 10 bp on BingX. A limit order that rests on the book pays the maker fee instead, 2 bp on both. The maker side is a tie, so the gap appears only when you take liquidity.
Fees are only part of a trade's cost. Slippage, the price you move by eating through the order book, grows with size. The cost table above adds both at each size from $1k to $5M, and every exchange's trading cost is compared on one page.
Markets and leverage
As of 1 October 2026 BingX lists 1,240 active perps, 234 of them stocks, commodities, FX or other real-world assets. Bybit lists 857, 237 of them real-world assets. BingX has more markets in total. Bybit has slightly more of them in stocks, commodities and FX.
BingX allows up to 500x and Bybit up to 150x on their highest-leverage markets; most markets allow less. Both pay funding every 1 hour, 4 hours or 8 hours depending on the market. Check a market's interval before you hold it: an hourly market settles 24 times a day, an 8-hour market three times. Positive funding means longs pay shorts, so the interval sets how often that payment lands on your position. The list further down this page shows the markets both exchanges have and each one's funding rate.
Who can use them
Bybit requires standard verification for every product. BingX requires advanced KYC to deposit or trade. Unverified BingX accounts can only withdraw, up to 20,000 USDT a day. BingX's rules vary by region, so check the rules for your country before you fund an account.
Reading the numbers on this page
Bybit publishes open interest as longs plus shorts, both sides of every position. BingX publishes one side of open positions. For the same positions Bybit's figure reads about twice as large, so the open interest row and chart above are not a like-for-like comparison of size.
Neither exchange publishes TVL, as is usual for a centralized exchange, so the TVL row and chart hold no figure for either. Compare size with the volume chart above, and use the BTC page to see funding, price and liquidity for both exchanges next to the others that list BTC.
