| 10-27 06:49 | Hyperliquid | Other | As a reminder, hyperps do not rely on any external data for the oracle price. Hyperps trade like perpetual contracts that users are familiar with, but do not require an external spot or index oracle price. Instead, the funding rate is determined relative to a moving average of the hyperp mark price. This makes the hyperp price more stable and less susceptible to manipulation, unlike usual pre-launch futures. When trading hyperps, funding rates are important to consider. If there is heavy price momentum in one direction, funding will heavily incentivize positions in the opposite direction for the next eight hours. As always, be sure to understand the contract before trading. Trading is on low leverage and isolated margin only. Beware of low liquidity, high volatility, potentially extreme funding, and increased liquidation risk. Note: XTEN-USDC will convert to a vanilla perp upon CEX listing. See Docs for more. XTEN-USDC is a hyperp contract that poses higher than normal risk. Do not trade contracts you are unfamiliar with and do not understand the risks for. Read the Docs to learn more about the hyperp mechanism and how it differs from vanilla perps. NFA. @HyperliquidX on X ↗ |

JIO is currently a pre-IPO market reflecting the anticipated share price; it is expected to convert to a standard XYZ perpetual upon the IPO. After the IPO, the oracle will convert the underlying stock's INR price to USD at the prevailing USD/INR FX rate. | 10-19 22:35 | Paragon | Listing | para:PAPER has been halted and settled. The @papertrade_xyz launch plan, published October 1, included a phase in which PAPER would become transferable. para:PAPER was listed as a pre-launch perp on that basis, with the expectation that it would convert to a standard perp once a spot market became available. Papertrade announced today that they do not intend to make $PAPER transferable. The pre-launch perp relied on the expectation that its underlying will eventually trade. Traders took positions based on a public roadmap that supported that expectation. With it removed, there is no future spot price for the market to converge to. We halted para at 22:31:15 UTC immediately following the announcement rather than schedule a later closure. This established a common cutoff for all open positions and a consistent basis for settlement, limiting the impact of trading around the announcement. All open positions were settled at $0.026296, calculated as the time-weighted average oracle price over the hour ending at the halt, using the same one-hour averaging window as Hyperliquid’s validator-led delistings for HyperCore perps. All open orders were cancelled. Remaining margin has been released, and realized PnL is reflected in account balances. No action is required from traders. Should PAPER’s transferability plans change, we will review whether the market can be unhalted. @tradeparagon on X ↗ |
| 10-18 14:56 | Injective | Token | This month, we released the new Injective Whitepaper, our first full rewrite since the original paper in December 2018. Back then we described a front-running-resistant exchange protocol on Ethereum. Injective is now a layer-1 built for institutional finance and tokenization, and the new paper covers how the entire chain works to issue real-world assets and make them usable across markets, apps and AI agents. What's inside: → Native RWA tokenization with role-based permissions over mint, send, receive and burn, plus receive hooks and sealable namespaces → iAssets, stablecoin-margined derivatives priced by oracles that track external assets without wrapping or pre-funding → A fully onchain orderbook that runs a sealed batch auction every block at one clearing price, so front-running and ordering MEV don't work → BFT consensus with a >2/3 commit threshold and deterministic finality in ~600ms → EVM and WASM sharing one state, with the MultiVM Token Standard keeping a single balance per asset that Solidity reads through precompiles → Perps with time-weighted funding, initial and maintenance margin checks, reduce-only liquidations and insurance funds → AI agents trading tokenized assets through MCP servers, policy-bounded signing and x402 payments in USDC → Onchain protocol revenue going to the Community BuyBack for $INJ every month with deflationary mechanisms built in We also formalized the mathematical reasoning behind each of these parameters, including the consensus threshold, batch clearing rule, oracle accounting, margin checks, permission model and dynamic issuance.
